👇 Let’s dive in

Q: Is HAPI using freemium or loss-leading models to grow?
A: Not exactly. Our KYT product is revenue-positive and delivers the best price on the market. But revenue ≠ profit — ops are still expensive. That’s why we’re expanding our product line.

Q: Do you still do hack investigations? What’s HAPI Labs up to?
A: Manual investigations were cut due to high costs. HAPI Labs now focuses on KYT infrastructure. It’s semi-self-sufficient and consistently updated by our team and data providers.

Q: What happened to influencer marketing? Will there be more during this bull?
A: We tried it. Didn’t work. Right now, memecoins dominate attention and DeFi chains underperform. We’ll relaunch campaigns only when timing makes sense.

Q: Why does it feel like Dona Mara is gone? Has HAPI lost direction?
A: Dona was always a mascot. HAPI isn’t one product anymore — it’s a full ecosystem. We’ve diversified to survive & evolve. That is the direction.

Q: What’s up with the burning mechanism you teased before?
A: Still in development. We don’t want a rushed or harmful burn mechanic. When it’s ready, it’ll be properly designed and communicated.

Q: Are you doing anything to educate the new wave of airdrop users?
A: Yep. Our product suite now includes both B2B tools & user-centered solutions like HAPI Score. Some experiments flopped (e.g. Scamfari), but HAPI ID/Score proved successful initially.

Q: Why didn’t Score token work out?
A: We messed up the messaging. People expected utility too early. Score was meant as a bonus reward, not a utility token (yet). We’re working on fixing this.

Q: Some HAPI ecosystem products feel abandoned. What’s paused right now?
A: True. Diversification stretched us thin. HAPI Snap was dropped due to low interest in MetaMask Snaps. We now prioritize what brings actual value.

Q: What will you do to regain community trust and bring in new investors?
A: Focus on core revenue (KYT), better utility for products, more transparency, and no hype-driven drops. Timing and fundamentals matter now.

Q: Why are other projects not using HAPI Score in airdrops/contests?
A: DeFi user decline hit demand for anti-Sybil tools. We’ll double down on B2B outreach and integrations that need lightweight KYC/trust layers.

Q: What’s your current development focus?
A: KYT, HAPI Score, and data integrations. Development is very much ongoing — we manually update parts of the protocol weekly.

Q: You use machine learning in KYT, right? Why not lean into the “AI narrative”?
A: Fair point. We’ve underplayed this. HAPI is an AI/data-driven protocol. Expect more visibility on this in future content and the next whitepaper.

Q: Is the whitepaper being updated? What’s new in it?
A: Yes. It’ll reflect product expansion, Score/ID role, AI in KYT, new revenue streams, and B2B/user split. Coming after key infra is finalized.

Q: Are all partners on your site still using HAPI?
A: Most are active, but we’ll refresh the list soon to remove legacy mentions. KYT remains integrated in several key protocols.

Mr. Durov launched Telegram in late 2013 with his brother, Nikolai, just months before he was pushed out of VK, the Russian social-media platform he founded. Mr. Durov pitched his new app—funded with the proceeds from the VK sale—less as a business than as a way for people to send messages while avoiding government surveillance and censorship.
